Susana Fragano, ASW (associate clinical social worker), works as a child and family therapist at a private, non-profit agency in North Hollywood, California. She is also the coordinator of the MAT (Multidisciplinary Assessment Team) program, which provides a comprehensive assessment to all children who are newly entered into foster care, through teaming with the family, Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and Department of Children and Family Services and other involved stakeholders. Susana has also been supervising social work student interns from several graduate schools in Los Angeles.
Sarah Measures (M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology, ICDL certificate in DIR mental health), has been helping families with children who have special needs for twenty years. Currently, Ms. Measures is an instructor for the Astra Foundation, training parents in DIR, as well as teaching graduate and undergraduate students at Lesley University. She also works privately with children on the autism spectrum consulting both in classrooms and to families. She conducts DIR workshops for parents and professionals and has presented at local and regional conferences.
Alexandra Marie Musliner is a graduate student at Lesley University studying for a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education & Creative Arts in Learning, leading to an Initial Educator License. She also works as a tutor. Before graduate school, Ms. Musliner worked for three years with Citizen Schools, a leading national nonprofit provider of out-of-school learning programs for middle school students in low- income communities.
